que las posiciona como uno de los complejos agr\u00edcolas m\u00e1s din\u00e1micos del pa\u00eds.<\/p><p>Con un volumen total de 1.292.600 toneladas, el sector creci\u00f3 57% en relaci\u00f3n con la campa\u00f1a anterior y super\u00f3 en 29% el promedio de los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, inform\u00f3 la Secretar\u00eda de Agricultura, Ganader\u00eda y Pesca de Argentina.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section quinquenal. El rendimiento promedio aument\u00f3 34%, traccionado principalmente por el poroto y el garbanzo, que lideraron la mejora en productividad.<\/p><p>Entre las legumbres, el poroto (foto) contin\u00faa dominando la estructura productiva con 666.000 hect\u00e1reas sembradas, seguido por garbanzo (151.500 ha), arveja (107.000 ha) y lenteja (31.500 ha). La producci\u00f3n se concentra geogr\u00e1ficamente en provincias como Salta y Santiago del Estero, con aportes relevantes de Buenos Aires, C\u00f3rdoba, Santa Fe, Tucum\u00e1n, Jujuy, Entre R\u00edos y Catamarca.<\/p><p>Exportaciones<\/p><p>La expansi\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se traduce en mayor oferta exportable. En 2024, Argentina envi\u00f3 legumbres a m\u00e1s de 85 pa\u00edses, con el poroto como principal producto (51% del total exportado), seguido por arveja y garbanzo. Los mercados de destino incluyen M\u00e9xico, Venezuela, Espa\u00f1a, Brasil, Pakist\u00e1n y Turqu\u00eda. Esta diversificaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica ofrece resiliencia ante fluctuaciones puntuales de demanda internacional.<\/p><p>A nivel de valor, el complejo legumbres exporta m\u00e1s de 400 millones de d\u00f3lares anuales, consolidando su aporte al sector agroexportador argentino y generando divisas en un contexto global favorable para la prote\u00edna vegetal.<\/p><p>Consumo interno<\/p><p>Aunque el consumo dom\u00e9stico de legumbres en Argentina sigue siendo relativamente bajo (cerca de 0,8 kg por persona por a\u00f1o, muy por debajo del promedio mundial), el uso de estos cultivos en la dieta y su percepci\u00f3n como fuente saludable de prote\u00edna vegetal incrementa su atractivo.<\/p><p>Desde el punto de vista agron\u00f3mico, las legumbres contribuyen a la fertilidad del suelo mediante la fijaci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica de nitr\u00f3geno y favorecen la sustentabilidad de los sistemas de producci\u00f3n. Este rol las posiciona como una herramienta estrat\u00e9gica para rotaciones agr\u00edcolas eficientes, con menor dependencia de insumos qu\u00edmicos y mayor compatibilidad con pr\u00e1cticas de agricultura sostenible.<\/p><p>Proyecciones 2026<\/p><p>Las proyecciones para la campa\u00f1a 2025\/26, a\u00fan preliminares, se\u00f1alan que el \u00e1rea sembrada se mantendr\u00eda elevada, con r\u00e9cord de siembra para poroto y aumentos importantes en arveja y lenteja, aunque con cierto retroceso en el garbanzo. Esto permitir\u00eda que la producci\u00f3n total se ubique por encima de los niveles recientes del \u00faltimo lustro, reforzando la posici\u00f3n del sector en la matriz agr\u00edcola
